Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
Remember to attend the spaghetti dinner at the Lion's Den on
Sunday, December 5th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., hosted by the Friends
of the Library. Buy tickets in
advance from any Friends officer, from the library, or pay at the
door. Adults: $5.00--Children under 12: $3.00
New Reference Books
Thanks to a $2000 grant from the
Oklahoma Department of Libraries, with funds provided by the Institute
of Museum and Library Services, the library purchased 46 reference
sources, including atlases, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and books
relating to facts and records, trade codes, medicine, agriculture,
animals, hobbies, and literary aids.
As
a bonus, the library received a 2011 World Book Encyclopedia set, with
world atlas and dictionary, an American history set for children, and
books about art history, digital photography, and genealogy.
