2020 Tax Filing Help Using IRS Free
You may be eligible to file your federal and/or
state income tax online for free, using the IRS Free File Program.
On your web browser, go to
irs.gov/freefile. This page will give you information
about the Free File program, and contains a blue block to "Choose an IRS
Free File Offer." The next page, "Options," has a blue block to
select "Browse all offers." The browse page currently offers nine Free
File companies. Read the requirements in the blocks for each
company, as they all may differ based on income level, age, and whether
they include free state filing.
If you qualify to use the Free File service, be
sure you either enter the company you choose from the irs.gov/freefile
web page, or use the unique address for the Free File program for each
company. This is because some companies may offer a Free filing
option on their regular home page that is for "simple" returns only.
These are not part of the IRS Free File program, and typically will not
allow using many schedules or forms that you may need to file.
CARES Act PPE Grant
The library was able to purchase additional
safety and personal protective equipment in August, thanks to grant
funds administered by the Institute of Museuam and Library Services,
